How did El Viejo CaserÓn begin?

In 1989 this area was transformed into what would become the "House of Horror". During the show's first months it went almost unnoticed by the vast majority of the public but soon word of mouth spread that the Parque de Atracciones was putting on a horror show with real-life characters which was causing fainting spells, abnormally rapid heartbeats and fits of hysteria among the unsuspecting visitors who dared to come see it. The show.s success had begun. That was the House of Horror...

The awe it inspired throughout Spain gave rise to a legend... After 19 uninterrupted seasons of shows witnessed by more than three million spectators, the Viejo Caseróas secured its place as one of the greatest shows Madrid has ever seen. It has been visited by people of the stature of Tim Burton, Robert Englund, and may other famous personalities.

"El Viejo Caseróis a journey through a series of sets and backdrops with the show.s lighting and sound effects. Many of these are stories and legends which have been heard, and some of them are true.Not everyone who enters is lucky enough to come out the other side. The number of those lost every year runs into the hundreds. Of course, not everyone is so easily frightened, and there are even people who can manage to laugh at the end of the journey but some frights are guaranteed.

What does this old house hold? More than you could possibly imagine. Infernal creatures, beings which left this life a long time ago. The route is taken in groups of between 8 and 10 people. Whoever is at the front won.t want to move forward into the disturbing darkness they see ahead of them, those at the back will be pushing the rest of the group, panic-stricken as they hear the sounds of death behind them. Some will turn to look around and wish they never had. Those in the middle don.t have to worry, they.ll get their fair share of panic too. Nothing will save them from having to go down into the crypt, visit the insane asylum, feel a chainsaw up close... Horror is served. All you have to do is enjoy it....
