Star Flyer

Would you like to try the highest attraction of Parque de Atracciones de Madrid? If so, you can’t miss Star Flyer. From this ride you’ll be able to see the Casa de Campo and the whole city of Madrid, with unique and spectacular views.

Star Flyer consists of a metallic structure which turns by means of chains made of the same material. We offer you wide seats with backrests, but your feet will be dangling in the air. The structure will start turning, leaving you open-mouthed due to the sensations you’ll experience at no less than 80 metres high, similar to a 25-floor building.

The Star Flyer seats are doubles and offer a total capacity for 24 passengers. At its peak, the speed it will fly at will be 70 km/h, but it will slowly ascend at the beginning, at 2.5 m/s while it turns, which will give you the feeling of flying. This attraction replaced the Flying Saucer, which was taken into account in its theme, since the latter was a real symbol of the park since it opened in 1969.

The attraction was located at the top of the Avenida de las Cascadas and appeared in millions of photographs which many visitors kept as souvenirs. On this occasion, Star Flyer, crowned with a saucer as a symbol of the previous ride, rises from the same place and both the Parque de Atracciones and the whole city of Madrid will be at its feet when they soar on it.
